The dollars behind a positive online reputation.

Reputation is not soft. We have measured the dollar value of a clean first page, a defended AI answer, and a hardened crisis surface across hundreds of engagements. Here is what the math actually says.

1. The branded-search premium

Across our 2024–2025 engagements, moving a single negative result from page-one position 2 to position 11 has historically corresponded with a 4× to 14× lift in inbound qualified-lead form fills, depending on industry. The largest lifts are in finance and legal — buyers vet hard before the first call.

2. The AI-answer premium

As of 2026, roughly 38% of branded queries get answered by an LLM before the user scrolls. Engagements that include Helios (GEO + AI citation defense) show ~22% higher discovery-call conversion than engagements without it. The AI paragraph is the new home page.

3. The crisis-readiness premium

The first six hours of any reputation crisis define the next five years. Engagements with the Rapid Response Protocol in place pre-crisis show 0 confirmed wire-fraud losses across documented deepfake attempts, vs an industry average loss of mid-six figures per incident.

4. The retention premium

For RIAs, law firms, and clinics — businesses where the principal is the asset — a defended reputation correlates with an internal AUM retention / client retention bump of 3–8 percentage points over a 24-month window. Compounded, that is the difference between a firm that grows and a firm that bleeds.

5. The compounding effect

The premium is not additive — it compounds. A clean first page makes the earned PR placements stick. The earned placements feed the AI citation graph. The hardened citation graph survives the next crisis. Each layer makes the next one work harder.

What this means for your engagement

The number we hear most often after a forensic baseline is "I had no idea how expensive this was already being." Reputation is being paid for whether or not you defend it. Defending it is materially cheaper than continuing to lose deals quietly.

The standing engagement opens with a private call.

A single conversation, signed under non-disclosure, with the principal who would own your matter. You leave with a printed posture assessment and the engagement letter, whether or not you retain us.
