Every price is read off the vendor’s own page
We open the vendor’s pricing page, record the tier names and numbers exactly as published, save the URL, and stamp the date we read it on the review. When a vendor does not publish a rate card we say so and print no number, because a made-up figure is worse than an absent one.
Third-party figures are labelled as third-party figures
Reputation agencies almost never publish prices. Where a credible outside source reports one, we cite that source by name and still mark the vendor as quote-only. You should never see a number on this site without knowing who said it.
Weaknesses have to be specific
A weakness that could be written about any vendor is not a weakness, it is filler. Every entry names something concrete: annual contract minimums, US-only broker coverage, no Outlook option, monitoring without remediation. If we could not find a real limitation we did not publish the review.
We list vendors that beat us
This directory catalogues direct competitors, including ones cheaper and faster than us for narrow problems. Every comparison page carries a section arguing the case against hiring us. A directory that only makes its owner look good is an advertisement, and buyers can tell the difference.
No affiliate links, anywhere
We take no commission from any vendor on this site. Outbound vendor links carry rel="nofollow" and earn us nothing. Our only commercial interest is the engagement you might book with us, which is disclosed on every page rather than buried.
Reviews are dated and re-verified
Pricing in this category moves. Each review prints the date its pricing was last verified. A review older than its stated verification window should be treated as a historical record, not a current quote.
